Minoti Mehta’s passion for weddings and events was originally sparked by her late father’s love for event planning. Their dream of starting a business together inspired her to study Hospitality and Accounting at University of San Francisco. She then experienced her first taste of the industry while interning at the St. Regis where she received her initial training in bespoke hospitality.
Upon graduating, she would go on to work at KPMG in Mergers and Acquisitions before deciding to take a sabbatical in hopes of finding more meaning and fulfillment in her work. She journeyed through Italy, Spain, and Southeast Asia and found that her passion was in planning extravagant events and weddings. Upon returning, Minoti took the leap and brought her father’s dream to fruition by launching Vermilion Weddings & Events.
After nearly half a decade, Minoti is among the top Wedding Planners in the San Francisco Bay Area and specializes in high-end, luxury events. She has been invited to participate as a Delegate at three exclusive Event Planner Conferences including Destination Wedding Planners Congress and Planners Xtraordinaire and has become known for her exquisite taste. As a connoisseur of hospitality experiences, Minoti keeps her fingers on the pulse on what’s trending around the world, allowing her to bring those special bespoke touches to her Clients’ celebrations.
When Minoti’s not planning her Clients’ events, you can find her dreaming up her next trip, embracing her inner foodie in the kitchen, at the latest restaurant with a glass of champagne, or religiously attending a Bar Method class. Exploring other cultures has always inspired her and enjoying them through food and travel is one of her favorite ways to do so. During her adventures, she’s studied different cuisines, cooked with top Italian chefs and even decided to study for her Level 1 Sommelier Exam.
